Cristel holds a master’s degree (Hons) in Marine Engineering from Ecole Centrale Marseille, France. She has over 25-year experience in subsea development projects within engineering and marine operations (SURF), from early phase to execution, in Europe and Africa. For seven years, Cristel worked in Northern Lights, first leading the SURF work for 4 years then as Technical Director in Northern Lights Joint Venture. She has now returned to Equinor in the Low Carbon Solutions unit and works as a project manager to coordinate all CCS partnerships.
