What: Visit the region’s largest CO2 emission point – a waste incineration plant with ambitious plans to capture 150,000 tons of CO2 by 2030. The project has received NOK 11 million from Enova for further development

‍Site Visit Option B - CCUS, 13 June 2025 (free of charge)

Location: NIBIO Særheim, Klepp‍
What: Visit GreenCap Solutions' Direct Air Capture facility, which captures CO2 directly from the air and significantly enhances plant growth and climate control in greenhouses.

Common meeting point & lunch after site-visits:‍

‍Location: Risavika Technology Park, Tananger
What: The day concludes with presentations from four CCUS technology companies (TBA), a tour of the gas test centre, and lunch.
