Kelly joined Shell’s CCUS community as General Manager Global Commercial in May 2022, overseeing a team of professionals advancing implementation of Shell’s CCS strategy as part of the company’s wider energy transition efforts. She began her career at ExxonMobil in international tax compliance and litigation. Since joining Shell, Kelly has held various commercial and JV governance roles across businesses and geographies, engaging with diverse stakeholders. Kelly's career highlights include leading fiscal/regulatory negotiations, maximizing commercial margins, resolving JV disputes, and developing innovative business models for CCUS. She currently spearheads CCS commercial innovation and sustains a vibrant commercial community through capability building and knowledge transfer.
Involved in the energy community, Kelly has been a member of AIEN since 2009, served on various advisory boards, and held leadership positions in Shell’s commercial forums.
